The Emerging member status secures exclusive right of the RuGBC to represent WGBC in Russia. The status also provides an evidence of effectiveness of RuGBC as an industry association.
The Russian Green Building Council was established in late 2009 and a year later joined under its auspices more than 120 corporate members not indifferent to the country's future.
Besides, the Council has actively supported the Green Building industry in Russia and has become a driver for implementing sustainable and feasible construction techniques.On December 15, 2009 the Council became a “Emerging” member of the World Green Building Council and after a year of good progress proved its status on a global level. Being a Emerging member will help the Russian Green Building Council strengthen its positions at home as well as abroad.
