The first LEED certified commercial office building in the Russian Federation has become the Renaissance Pravda in St. Petersburg.
This was announced by ALAN – Mimta, the joint sustainability consultancy that guided the developers, Renaissance Development, during design and construction and provided LEED certification and related services such as energy modeling.
The building is located in Hersonskaya street and offers 18.383 m2 of leasable office space within class A standart. The building has become the first LEED certified building in St. Petersburg and only the third LEED certified building in the whole of Russian Federation. The LEED rating system, developed by the US Green Building Council (USGBC), is the foremost program for buildings, homes and communities that are designed, constructed and operated for improved environmental and human health performance.
